This is a tutorial for beginners on how to use the Web site

Most of the images on our site are presented in two image formats: .JPG and .PNG. Both are universal formats recognized by all graphics editing programs. The .PNG format generates images with transparent backgrounds and has excellent graphic quality, but they are larger files. At this link you will find helpful information about both formats: http://www.mangelsdesigns.com/frames/format.htm

For additional help, you will find a listing of all the images and their format, size, and resolution at this link: http://www.mangelsdesigns.com/help/help10.htm

When you want to download images, you must first log in on any page of the site with the e-mail address and password that you used to register. The system will welcome you in a window where you will find links to all the categories of our collections.

To download images in .JPG format (please note that many categories are not offered in .JPG, only in .PNG), after logging in, you may click on the corresponding thumbnail. A new window will open and display the image.

After the image has fully loaded, click on it with your mouse's secondary button (right click) and select "Save as..." or "Save image as...." A window will open to allow you to select the location (folder) on your hard drive where you want to keep the image. Click "Save." To find the saved image, open your graphics editing program, and in File / Open... you must look for the folder where you saved the image.

To download images in .PNG format, click on the corresponding link of each category where it says: "Click here to enter in your PRIVATE AREA and download these images in PNG format."

If you have previously logged in, your private area will be opened where you can navigate through the categories. The images in .PNG are in compressed .ZIP files. As with .JPG downloads, you must select the folder on your hard drive where you want to keep them.

After you have downloaded the files, you need to use a file decompression program (such as WinZip, which is the most common) to decompress them. These programs are basic PC utilities that can be downloaded for free from the Internet.

To open the images you saved, navigate to the folder where you previously saved them when downloading.

Take it slow, and step-by-step you will become familiar with the process. You will see that it is very simple and similar to any other Internet site that allows images to be downloaded. Carefully read the information provided at the aforementioned links so you can download and save files without additional assistance.
